Volunteers are the heart of our community, the active hands of God among His faithful. Perhaps one of the many Ministries we offer here at Saint Joseph’s Church is the expression of God’s Love that is meant for you to share.

Liturgical Ministries

The Mass is not something you merely ‘attend’. It is something in which you participate. Every person is called to contribute to the liturgy in a manner suited to his or her unique talents and temperament. For some this means serving in a liturgical ministry at Mass. If you are a baptized and confirmed Catholic, please consider volunteering for one of the listed ministries.

Faith Enrichment

For information regarding these Evangelization and Faith Enrichment Groups, please contact the Religious Education Office.

Educational Ministries are designed to enlighten our parishioners to the spiritual necessity of the sacraments. At least every lay minister should attend one workshop a Year through the Archdiocesan Worship Office. We coordinate the workshops given and we will let you know. If you have any question on education matters, please call (713) 222-6579 and speak with Sr. Maria Esther Alonso.

Community Ministries – Social Ministry

We come together as a community to serve one another, and we give thanks to God for all of the blessings He has shown to us. We help people as much we can through the Social Ministry. Sister Lucia Schenayder coordinates that Ministry.
